Today, I received in my office the US envoy, Mr. Hady Amr, where we discussed many bilateral issues, and stressed that the absence of a political horizon and Israel’s continuation of its unilateral measures are killing the possibility of a two-state solution.
And we discussed some topics that pave the way for the meeting of the US Assistant Secretary of State in the coming days, including the reopening of the US consulate in East Jerusalem, and our disapproval of the fact that the PLO is still on the lists of terrorism in USA law from Congress.
We talked about the challenges that the Palestinians face due to the occupation and the historical injustice that we face, as a result of the lack of implementation of international legitimacy and of double standards.
