Today I received a delegation from the Palestinian community in the United States of America.
I briefed them on the latest political developments in the Palestinian arena, and thanked them for their efforts in serving the Palestinian people, appreciating their role in the American arena, their mobilization of American public opinion to spread the Palestinian narrative, and their influence on decision-makers in America. I also stressed the need to stick to international legitimacy and its implementation to preserve the two-state solution. In turn, they thanked the good reception, and the delegation talked about the tasks of the Palestinian American Center and the center’s projects, such as providing wheelchairs and distributing them to the governorates of the country, providing respirators, and providing tests for Covid, providing a food baskets for the needy and school stationery, as well as their meetings with the Senate and members of Congress, as charitable humanitarian work intersects with politics in Mobilizing voices in support of the Palestinian cause.
