There was a call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, to discuss the major developments taking place in the region as a result of the devastating war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
We affirmed our common position of rejecting harm to civilians from all sides, an immediate ceasefire, opening safe corridors, and not displacing the Palestinian people from their homeland, and that a political solution based on international legitimacy and international law is the only way to end this conflict.
We agreed on joint action at the international level, in order to achieve these combined goals.
