We welcome Australia’s decision with regards to Jerusalem & its call for a two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy and its affirmation that the future of sovereignty over Jerusalem depends on the permanent solution based on international legitimacy (2SS).

This morning, I met a delegation from the “J Street” group.

I discussed the latest political developments at all levels, locally, regionally and globally with our esteemed guests.

The occupation forces’ storming of civil work institutions, closing them and confiscating their contents in Ramallah is a dangerous escalation and is an attempt to silence the voice of truth and justice.

We will appeal to all official international bodies and human rights institutions to intervene immediately to condemn this occupier behavior and place pressure on them to reopen the institutions and to be able to exercise their activities freely.

The execution crime of citizen Muhammad Al-Shaham deserves an immediate and urgent international investigation.

We strongly condemn the brutal aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip by the occupation forces, which targets civilians, children and its infrastructure, and we call on the international community to intervene and provide protection for our people, and we appreciate the Egyptian effort that was put to stop this aggression.

This morning, I received the German representative, His Excellency Ambassador Oliver Owcza.

We discussed the latest political developments, and preparations for President Abbas’ visit this month to Germany, and highlighted the bilateral relations between Palestine and Germany.

The Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the PLO, Hussain al-Shaikh, said in a statement today that the [Israeli] occupation government continues with its money piracy over the Palestinians’ funds and decides to deduct hundreds of millions of shekels to further embed the policy of financial blockade and steal our money.

He slammed the Israeli decision to deduct millions of palestinian funds as a “step that adds to the daily escalation in our cities, villages and camps and the legalization of our bloodshed.”

Today, I received in my office the representative of Russia in the International Quartet – Mr. Vladimir Karpovich Safronkov and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the State of Palestine, Gocha Puachidze.

We discussed some bilateral issues and the latest local, regional and international developments.

Today I received Her Excellency the British Consul General Diane Corner and the Head of the Department of Economic Development and Institutions, Mr. Nick Horn, in my office, where we discussed the latest political developments in the region.

Another crime committed by the occupation forces in the old city of Nablus, where martyrs have fallen and many wounded, there was also destruction of homes and burning of property.

We strongly condemn this crime, and we hold the occupation responsibility for its repercussions.

We reiterate that the international protection to our people would put a line in front of these crimes committed against it.
