The importance of reaching a political solution based on international legitimacy, the two-state solution, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital were emphasized.

We have also discussed the important and effective role of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in establishing and implementing the two-state solution on the ground, and establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Today, Wednesday, I met in my office with the Norwegian Special Envoy for the Middle East Peace Process, Her Excellency Ambassador Hilde Haraldstad, and the Norwegian Representative to Palestine, Her Excellency Consul General Torunn Viste.

During the meeting, the latest developments were discussed, the latest of which was reaching a humanitarian truce agreement against the brutal Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, which has been continuing for 45 consecutive days, emphasizing that it needs to lead to a definitive end to the war.
