I received this Tuesday morning, the representative of Switzerland to the State of Palestine Ms. Anne-Lise Henin.

I briefed her on the latest political developments in the Palestinian arena, and thanked the representative of Switzerland for her state’s continuous support for the Palestinian people in many fields, such as the technology and economic sectors, and we discussed the Palestinian financial crisis.

In turn, the representative stressed the Swiss support and their efforts in strengthening of the Palestinian economy.

This Monday morning, I received the representative of the European Union to the State of Palestine, Mr Sven Kühn Von Burgsdorff The Ambassador was briefed on the latest political developments in the Palestinian arena.

I called on the EU to pressure Israel to stop escalatory unilateral measures and also called on EU countries to recognize the State of Palestine.

We congratulate Nasser Abu Bakr for his re-election as head of Palestinian journalists’ syndicate. I wish him the best of luck going forward

The occupation government has released its army to commit daily crimes against the sons of our heroic people, and the last of these crimes is the killing and destruction that happened tonight in the steadfast camp “Balata”. The occupation government declares an open war with the Palestinians by killing, destroying houses, settlements and destroying sanctities, which requires all Palestinians to unite and develop policies to confront this arrogance and this dangerous escalation. The occupation government announces that the price of its survival and the continuation of its coalition is Palestinian blood.

This Wednesday morning, I received the Tunisian Ambassador to the State of Palestine, His Excellency Ambassador Habib Ben Farah. We discussed regional issues and bilateral relations, i demonstrated appreciation for the relationship with the state of Tunisia, and briefed him on the latest developments in the local political arena.

Executive Committee of the PLO, Hussein AlSheikh, met with the head of the US Palestinian Affairs Unit, Mr. George Noll, and his accompanying delegation, and bilateral relations and the latest political developments in the region were discussed. The SG called on the USA to pressure Israel to stop its unilateral measures.

Today, I discussed with the head of Canada’s representative office to the State of Palestine, Ambassador David Da Silva, and his accompanying delegation, the latest political developments on the Palestinian issue at all levels, and the dangerous developments taking place in the occupied Palestinian territories.

And put it in the form of a dangerous Israeli escalation, stressing the need to stop all unilateral measures taken by Israel.

Ambassador Da Silva affirmed his country’s position in support of the Palestinian people in determining their fate according to the resolutions of international legitimacy and in accordance with the two-state solution, stressing his country’s continuation in providing support to the Palestinian people through development and economic projects.

This morning, I met with the Head of the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees, Ms Intisar Al-Wazir, and her accompanying delegation from the General Secretariat of the Union.

I emphasized the important role of Palestinian women in political life, and their active role in all forms of struggle, under occupation, siege and displacement.

And I stressed the need to improve the role of Palestinian women and increase their contribution to the development and construction process, and make room for them and involve them in all frameworks and committees, as well as raise the proportion of their representation.

The occupation government must stop administrative detention immediately! We call on all international institutions and bodies to place pressure in this direction, as it is a violation of international charters by the Israeli occupation authorities.

No to administrative detention and freedom for the prisoners of freedom.

I met this Sunday morning with the Russian Representative to the State of Palestine, His Excellency Ambassador Ghocha Boachedze.

I discussed with him many regional and international issues and files, in addition to bilateral relations, and the latest developments in the local political arena.
