Al-Sheikh: Netanyahu’s statement confirms that his war is against all Palestinians

Netanyahu’s statement, which equates the Oslo Accords with what happened on October 7th, confirms that his war is against all Palestinians, and we say to Netanyahu that Oslo died under the tracks of his tanks that are sweeping through all our cities, villages and camps from Jenin to Rafah.




Al-Sheikh met with the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Region at the German Foreign Ministry

Today, Thursday, I met with the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Region at the German Foreign Ministry, Mr. Tobias Tunkel, and the German Representative to Palestine, His Excellency Ambassador Oliver Owcza.

During the meeting, the latest developments were discussed, the most important of which is the necessity of achieving a humanitarian pause for longer periods in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the necessity of finding a solution to the financial crisis, and emphasizing the rejection of the current escalation of settler violence in the West Bank.

The importance of reaching a political solution based on international legitimacy, the two-state solution, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital were emphasized.




Al-Sheikh met with members of the G7+1

Today, Wednesday, I met with members of the G7+1 in my office. We discussed the latest developments on the field on the sixth day of the humanitarian pause, and fifty-three days after the launch of the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The possibilities of extending longer pause periods, the possibilities of definitively ending the war in the Gaza Strip, and the situation in the West Bank and East Jerusalem were also discussed, in addition to the financial crisis that the Palestinian Authority is currently facing.

The seven countries, represented by Japan, the United States, the European Union, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Canada + Norway, affirmed their firm and supportive position for the two-state solution.




Al-Sheikh met with His Excellency Ambassador Michel Rentenaar

Today, I met with His Excellency Ambassador Michel Rentenaar.

On the fourth day of the humanitarian truce, forty-nine days after the brutal Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, and in light of the continuation and escalation of the stifling practices and occupation violations of the rights of the Palestinian people in all their places of existence , we discussed the recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as ways to confront the Israeli repressive practices in the West Bank, and ending the war in the Gaza Strip.

We have also discussed the important and effective role of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in establishing and implementing the two-state solution on the ground, and establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
