Ramallah – July 23, 2025 – Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh stated that the Israeli Knesset’s demand for the Israeli government to impose sovereignty over the West Bank represents not only a direct assault on the rights of the Palestinian people, but also a dangerous escalation that undermines the prospects for peace, stability, and the two-state solution based on negotiation, which enforces and protects regional security.

He added, “These unilateral Israeli actions blatantly violate international law and the ongoing international consensus regarding the status of the occupied Palestinian territories, including the West Bank.”

He called on the international community to uphold international legitimacy and its resolutions, and to place efforts to stop these violations and prevent the consolidation of the occupation as a reality by force. We also call on the countries of the world to recognize the State of Palestine and to condemn and denounce this decision.

Ramallah, July 19, 2025 – Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh stated that The Palestinian leadership sent urgent messages to the world’s countries and their leaders, urging them to take serious and immediate action to stop the starvation genocide being practiced against the Palestinian people, which is devastating children in the Gaza Strip. He added that shame pursues the silent human conscience regarding what is happening. This war must be stopped immediately, and the Palestinian people must be saved.

Ramallah, 25 June 2025 – In a statement issued on Wednesday, Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh condemned the continued settler violence and rampage under the protection of the occupation army, and the continued commission of crimes against Palestinian towns and villages by the hands of settlers.
Al Sheikh pointed out that these racist acts are carried out by a political decision of the Israeli government, which will lead to an explosion in the region.
Al Sheikh called on the international community to intervene urgently to protect the Palestinian people from these systematic crimes.

We reject any form of guardianship over the Rafah crossing and attempts to undermine Palestinian sovereignty over it in partnership with our brothers in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

We welcome the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

We call for a permanent cessation to this criminal war and Israel’s immediate withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
