This Sunday, I received in my office in Ramallah, the Head of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Maya Tissafi, in the presence of the Swiss representative to Palestine Mr. Victor Vavricka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We discussed with Ms. Tissafi the latest political developments on the Palestinian issue locally, regionally and internationally, we have emphasized the need to stop the Israeli escalation and settler attacks that impede the two-state solution in the absence of a political horizon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We discussed the financial crisis in Palestine in especially because of the cessation of financial support to the PA and the occupation’s withholding of tax funds due.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We affirmed our appreciation for the bilateral relations between Palestine and Switzerland, thanking them for their permanent support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people through international institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
