“The Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein Al-Sheikh, told Al-Hurra News about the Cabinet’s discussion of whether or not to provide facilities for the Palestinians.
He said that the Israeli government is a racist government that is trying to beautify its image with steps that are not serious, adding that whoever besieges the authority and seeks to weaken and undermine it , is the government of Israel.
Al-Sheikh said that the problem of the Palestinian people lies in the occupation, which must end and not beautify its image.
Al-Sheikh called on the American administration to put forward a creative political initiative based on international legitimacy and signed agreements, and to create a political horizon that leads to serious negotiations to end the Israeli occupation.
Al-Sheikh told Al-Hurra that during his recent meeting with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Palestinian-Israeli Affairs, Andrew Miller, he told DAS that what is required of the US administration is to exert serious and effective pressure to force Israel to stop all its unilateral measures, and this is what the Israeli goverment signed on in Aqaba and Sharm el-Sheikh and repudiated it.
The Sheikh also called on the United States to classify the Jewish organizations that call for and practice killing against the Palestinians as terrorist organizations and to include them on the lists of international terrorism.”
