Today, Wednesday, I met with Mr. Hady Amr, Special Representative for Palestinian Affairs and his accompanying delegation. We discussed many issues, the latest political developments, and the continuous Israeli escalation. And called on him to pressure the Israeli government to stop all unilateral measures, and discussed many other Palestinian-American bilateral issues.
Today I met with Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr Zeng Jixin. I discussed with him the historical bilateral relations between the two countries, and the continued Chinese support for the rights of the Palestinian people. And the preparations for the visit of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, which is expected in the middle of this month to China, to discuss issues and developments in the region and Palestinian-Chinese relations.
